About Nurses in the Media

Nurses in the Media is a media competency training program designed to empower nurses to confidently engage with the media, advocate for public health, and elevate the voice of the nursing profession. Built on the 10 media competencies for nurses (Myers et al., 2022), the program is customized by nursing specialty and is designed for group licensing to associations and academic programs—not for individual enrollment.
Purchasing and Licensing

The program is available for purchase by professional nursing associations and academic nursing programs. It is not currently offered for individuals.

Organizations can license the program for 1, 2, or 3 years, depending on their needs.

The program can be delivered in multiple formats, including:
• PowerPoint with voiceover
• SCORM-compliant files (for LMS integration)
• MP4 video format
The final format depends on the organization's preference and existing learning management systems. -
